This mountain bike competition, which is now an unmissable annual sporting event, will be held from October 6 to 9 at the SPARC sports complex, Cascavelle, transformed for the occasion into a race village.
Much more than a mountain bike race, the Fundsmith Colin Mayer Tour is a gathering of local and international community of close-knit cyclists. This friendly atmosphere, the smiles of the participants and their satisfaction, are the reasons that push the organisers to surpass ourselves every year. After 2 years where they had to adapt the race format due to the health crisis, the Fundsmith Colin Mayer Tour will once again be a 4-day team race. The last stage (Sunday October 9) can also be done solo.
In order to raise the level and quality of the competition, a prologue will take place on October 6 from 3 p.m. to determine the ranking of mountain bikers for the start of the first stage the next morning.
Participants will face a challenge of approximately 180km spread over 4 days, the routes will be very “challenging” as usual. The team members will have to support and help each other over the last kilometres; but it’s sure to put a smile on the faces of regulars and new attendees alike. The Fundsmith Colin Mayer Tour of course remains for intermediate runners who are prepared and trained but could also cause injury for those unprepared. As in previous years, the medical sponsor C-care will be on site during the competition.

The Fundsmith Colin Mayer Tour is also an opportunity to support the most disadvantaged.
This year, part of the profits from this race will be used to support the MotilaKaz association to help it achieve its goal of raising 1 million rupees to acquire land for 16 families.
