Talenteum Africa ranked among 100 fastest companies in Africa in 2023

Talenteum Africa, the 1st social bridging platform has been ranked among the 100 fastest companies in Africa in 2023 by Financial Times. Talenteum is an HR fintech startup that enables companies, multinationals, and NGOs to find, hire and pay talented individuals who are ready to work remotely, no matter where they are located – known as a social bridging platform.

A social bridging platform is a social matching platform that aims to connect people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and geographic locations in order to work together. Unlike traditional social networking platforms that often focus on connecting people who already know each other, social bridging platforms seek to create connections between individuals who may not have otherwise met.

Social bridging platforms often use algorithms and data analysis to match individuals based on common interests, skills, or other factors. These platforms can be used for a variety of purposes, such as finding job opportunities, building professional networks, or connecting with individuals from different cultural backgrounds.

Commenting on this exciting news, Nicolas Goldstein, Co-founder of Talenteum Africa said: “We are happy to see a Mauritian company acting on the ground in Mauritius but also in several African countries as an Employer of records and staffing company through their Pan African Web Platform. This company is bridging the gap between people from very different continents and allowing them to come together by working on common projects.”

He further added, “Social bridging platforms can play an important role in promoting social inclusion and diversity, as they provide a means for individuals to connect with people from different backgrounds and perspectives. By promoting cross-cultural communication and collaboration, social bridging platforms can help to break down barriers and promote greater understanding between people from different cultures and communities.”

After noting that recently capital flows to emerging markets have slowed down and start-up companies have been rattled by the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank, the Financial Times/Statista 2023 annual ranking of Africa’s fastest-growing companies casts its gaze back to encapsulate a time of corporate dynamism at what was the height of the pandemic.

The ranking, now in its second year, shows that companies in sectors including fintech, renewable energy, healthcare, commodities and agriculture were managing to grow their businesses while much of the world shut down.
