Maribon launches its first mobile app to connect people with the food they love

The mobile application Maribon has been launched in Mauritius in December 2023 to connect people with the food they love.

Built in Mauritius, Maribon is the first digital social platform to support the language of Creole. Using the latest trends and technology, the mobile app combines restaurant search & discovery, social networking, convenient bookmarking and personalized recommendations to create a new, immersive and engaging eating out experience, with many more exciting features to come in the future!

Speaking about the launch of Maribon, Founder Gordon Campbell explained: “Mauritius is the perfect melting pot of people, food and other variables that made it the perfect Sandbox to launch a completely new concept such as Maribon. Maribon is not only unique and innovative in Mauritius but in the entire world, so launching it in Mauritius first will help us build better for the future.”

Maribon aims to accompany individuals on their food journey, while also supporting local businesses of all shapes and sizes and fostering a vibrant culinary community. Maribon is actively seeking strategic partnerships that share the same vision.
