Workshop 17 inaugurates its largest coworking space in Mauritius at Telfair, Moka with over 80% of private offices occupied

A modern and innovative work experience awaits at the heart of Telfair with ready-to-use office spaces. Workshop 17 has launched its fourth and largest coworking space in Mauritius, located in Telfair, with an official opening at the end of May. This new space covers a total area of 3,034 m², spread over two floors in an Oficea building, a subsidiary of ENL Property. It offers various types of workspaces: private offices, flexible desks, and lounges. Workshop 17 confirms its strategy to expand within the Moka Smart City and support the development of an innovation and collaboration hub.

Ideally situated on La Promenade, the new Workshop 17 space in Telfair provides tenants with a stunning view of Moka’s outdoor Amphitheatre. The building hosting this space is currently undergoing evaluation for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification, ensuring sustainable and eco-friendly development. Reflecting its appeal, over 80% of the private office spaces were reserved even before the official opening. Among the first tenants are Hawksford (Mauritius) Ltd, Daytona Systems (Mauritius) Ltd, Numeus Group, ICE TECH, and ENL Property Ltd, among others. The ground floor of this building and its neighboring buildings offer a variety of shops and dining options, including the Kuumba café right at the entrance of the Workshop 17 building.

“Workshop 17 chose to establish itself in the Moka Smart City due to the quality of its infrastructure, accessibility, and commitment to eco-friendly development. The buildings designed by Oficea offer not only productive workspaces but also living and relaxation spaces that respect the environment. With modern design and sustainable practices, Oficea redefines the very concept of workspace by perfectly combining efficiency and aesthetics,” says Emilie Rey, Location & Business Development Manager of Workshop 17 Telfair.
