Bank One Kicks Off Women Entrepreneur Awards 2024 Workshops for Women Entrepreneurs

On Saturday, August 10, 2024, Bank One was pleased to host the inaugural training workshop for the Women Entrepreneur Awards (WEA) 2024 at its facilities. This workshop marks the beginning of the training sessions for this edition and represents a crucial step in equipping participants with the tools necessary to refine their strategies and strengthen their businesses.

Hosting this first workshop underscores our commitment to helping them overcome challenges and achieve their goals,” said Mahabeer Ramjuttan, Senior Relationship Manager, Bank One SME & Business Banking.

Under the theme “Driving Success for Women Entrepreneurs,” the day featured three distinct sessions covering the following topics: Strategies for Achieving Personal and Professional Goals, Financial Literacy, and How Branding Can Spur Growth. Participants had the opportunity to engage with experts who shared their experiences and knowledge.

“This collaboration with Bank One has been extremely valuable and will have a significant impact on our candidates’ journeys. The workshops held last Saturday were transformative, providing candidates with essential skills and knowledge. Their recognition reflects the success of the workshop and the positive influence of Bank One in the field of entrepreneurship,” said Kirti Sheonarain, founder of WEA.

The 2024 edition of WEA aligns with the International Women’s Day theme: Invest in Women, Accelerate Progress. Participants will be judged based on criteria including innovation, impact, sustainability, and inclusivity. The grand finale of the WEA Awards 2024 will be held on October 19.
