Innodis and FoodWise: a partnership built on compassion and solidarity.
It was not an ordinary Monday on 13 October 2025 for the employees of Innodis, who left their offices to visit the Safire Association, where they served meals to children in vulnerable situations. This gesture symbolised the company’s commitment to the community and celebrated its partnership with FoodWise, established in 2019.
Since the beginning of this collaboration, Innodis has regularly donated unsold products and surplus stock to FoodWise. Thanks to these contributions, more than 350,000 meals have been distributed across Mauritius through various associations.
“At Innodis, we believe that a successful company is one that serves others, helping to improve the lives of the people and communities it touches every day. Our vision, ‘Good Today, Better Tomorrow,’ guides every decision we make. Working hand in hand with FoodWise allows us to turn that vision into concrete, sustainable, and human action,” said Jean-Pierre Lim Kong, CEO of Innodis.
Within the company, a dedicated logistics chain ensures smooth product delivery and collaboration. “We chose to work with FoodWise because they have a deep understanding of on-the-ground realities and the needs of local associations. It’s a win-win partnership, built on transparency,” added Lim Kong.
Since 2019, over 91,000 kilograms of food have been redistributed, representing more than 350,000 meals delivered to 129 charitable organisations.
“Innodis was one of the first major corporations to believe in our mission,” said Marie Merle des Isles, Partnership Manager at FoodWise. “Their consistent commitment and responsiveness enable FoodWise to better meet the needs of NGOs. Together, we are combating food waste and bringing nutritious meals to the most vulnerable Mauritians.”
Now in its seventh year, this collaboration reminds us that beyond numbers and logistics, it is human actions that create real change. By joining forces, Innodis and FoodWise demonstrate that it is possible to create shared value by transforming today’s surplus into hope for tomorrow.
