This senior appointment reflects GCR’s commitment to strengthening its commercial presence in Mauritius and advancing its strategic growth objectives across Africa.
Vaneeta brings close to two decades of senior commercial and business development experience across Africa’s financial services sector, having held leadership roles at DTOS, Ocorian, ABAX, MCB Institute of Finance and Nestle. She has a proven track record in market development, client acquisition, and strategic stakeholder engagement across more than 21 African markets.
Her career highlights include driving regional expansion strategies, leading corporate acquisitions, implementing digital transformation initiatives, and contributing to thought leadership at international conferences.
In her new role as General Manager for GCR Mauritius, Vaneeta will lead commercial growth and market development, deepen strategic client relationships, and strengthen GCR’s engagement with issuers, investors, regulators, and other key stakeholders in support of local capital market development. With extensive experience, Vaneeta has a proven record of driving profitable expansion and building stakeholder trust. Her leadership style combines commercial drive with credibility, positioning GCR Mauritius for sustainable growth and a stronger institutional presence.
