Vallé Advenature Park reaffirms commitment to education for school year 2026

In line with its mission of proximity and community support, the Vallé Advenature Park undertook its annual corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme throughout the month of January aimed at school children.

Launched in 2022, this initiative has helped 3,000 children aged 3-11 by providing school bags and school equipment for the 2026 school year. The mission, targeting mainly the regions of Chamouny and the South, also has under its umbrella partner schools located in Port-Louis, Pamplemousses, and Rivière Noire, offering families significant support for going back to school with confidence and motivating children.

At the origin of this project, the group’s management, originally from Chamouny, wanted to give back to the local community the necessary support to promote the educational path of the youngest people. Committed to the well-being of children, they are convinced that youth constitutes the future of the country and that every student deserves to start the year in dignified and fair manner.

Through this programme, the Vallé Advenature Park aims to reduce inequality and offer to each child the same chance to succeed, irrespective of their background, which fully aligns with the Good Neighbor Policy.

Established on an extended territory, the Vallé Advenature Park asserts its role as a committed stakeholder and is strongly anchored among the local community. The donation was distributed in collaboration with the partner institutions and associations, encompassing Notre Dame du Mont Carmel School (RCA), I Have a Dream Association, Rivière Noire Children’s, Madrassah Andalus, Muslim Educational Society, Southern Handicapped, Sokappadu Angel Special Schools, as well as l’École Rambasant Sewpal.

The support to schools also reflects the DNA of the Vallé Advenature Park, relying on exploration, discovery, and learning through experience. While the park encourages active and playful learning, the school helps ensure the development of theoretical knowledge. Through this programme, the Vallé Advenature Park asserts its vision: Investing in the young generation to help train the citizens and explorers of tomorrow.

The entire project was planned several months in advance and was overseen by the CEO’s Personal Assistant and project manager, Reshma Coodian, where partner institutions transmitted the list of beneficiary students to help prepare bags suiting individual needs.

“To see the happy faces of children remains our biggest reward. Through the distribution of school equipment, we wanted to remove a significant hurdle pertaining to access to education and enabling every child to start the year with confidence and dignity. Our CSR commitment is built over the long term since we strongly believe that the youth represent the country’s future. For the entire team, it’s a real honour to contribute to their success,” Reshma Coodian underlined.

Through this annual program, Vallé Adventurature Park reaffirms its commitment to education, social development and support for Mauritian families, placing the young generations at the heart of its CSR strategy.
