PhoenixEarth supports 59 NGOS, supplies 78,065 kg of food products in 2025

In a context where social and environmental responsibilities are more than ever at the topmost priority, Phoenix Beverages Limited (PhoenixBev), through the PhoenixEarth Initiative and FoodWise, has put to the fore the tangible and quantifiable results pertaining to the fight against food waste, social help, and reducing carbon emissions.

Spanning over January and December 2025, the PhoenixBev has supplied 78,065 kg of products, whose redistribution was facilitated by the FoodWise, of 312,262 meals under a structured network of 59 NGO partners. The donations by PhoenixBe were made possible by 346 donations to NGOs, showcasing the efficient logistics system and strong partnership in place.

Beyond the social impact, the actions undertaken in 2025 have enabled the prevention of the emission of 197,862 kilograms of CO₂ equivalent, contributing concretely to fulfilling the objectives of sustainability and ecological transition. This performance has confirmed the value of surplus food as an effective lever at various social, environmental, and operational levels.

The results presented in the report show the relevance of a collaborative approach between economic actors and associations, based on trust, traceability, and resources. The partnership with PhoenixBev fits with the creation of shared values, aligning social commitment and sustainable performance.

On the back of such positive indicators, the initiative aims to strengthen and expand its model in 2026 with key priorities such as the strengthening of the partner network, an improvement in the process of redistribution, and increasing the quantifiable impact in line with the ESG standards and expectations of stakeholders.

The CEO of PBL Bernard Theys commented, “We at PBL strongly believe that our role goes beyond the production and distribution of beverages. Through our partnership with FoodWise, we have chosen to act concretely and sustainably by putting our resources into community services while actively fighting against wastage. This initiative reflects our commitment to help integrate responsible practices at the heart of our operations and contribute to a circular model, inclusive and respectful towards the environment. We are proud to collaborate with stakeholders sharing a similar vision of making a positive and quantifiable impact on society.”

On the other hand, the General Manager at FoodWise Lotilde Charpy added, “This collaboration with Phoenix Beverages Ltd shows the possibility when committed stakeholders unite their forces towards a common objective. Every year, the strengthening of this solidarity chain among all stakeholders helps to expand the number of organisations that we support and helps amplify the positive impact on the ground. To see more and more NGOs benefitting from redistribution sends a strong signal on the essence and importance of the model. At the same time, the growing environmental impact of such initiatives confirms that the fight against waste is also a concrete lever to reduce our collective footprint. With committed partners like PBL, we are demonstrating that it is possible to combine solidarity, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.”
