blink by Emtel announces 10 more lucky winners of its blink & Win campaign’s 3rd edition

Ebene, 20 January 2026: blink by Emtel announced 10 additional winners of the third edition of its blink & Win campaign during the third and final draw held at Emtel World on 16 January. The event also served as the prize-giving ceremony for winners of the second draw, which took place on 23 December 2025.

Bringing together customers and merchant partners, the event marked another milestone in the festive blink & Win campaign, designed to reward users of blink, Emtel’s innovative digital payment platform.

The campaign ran from 10 October 2025 to 9 January 2026, capitalising on heightened festive spending during Black Friday, Christmas, and the end-of-year period. Three lucky draws were organised over this timeframe to ensure regular opportunities to win, with draws held in November, December, and January.

The blink & Win campaign reflects Emtel’s commitment to thanking its customers and merchants for their continued trust and support. Participants automatically qualified for the lucky draw by completing transactions via blink, including Scan & Pay, e-commerce merchant payments, bill payments, and mobile recharges. Every Rs 200 spent through blink earned an entry, increasing users’ chances of winning.

blink, representing innovation, convenience and accessibility

Commenting on the benefits of blink, Kresh Goomany, CEO of Emtel, said:

Since blink’s arrival on the digital payments market, we have invested a lot to raise awareness among customers and merchants about the use of mobile phones to make payments, since it is much easier and helps to minimise the risks associated with the theft of cash.”

Mr Goomany emphasised that “blink has made digital payments simpler and less costly, and merchants who have adopted the blink QR code are paying much less than before the creation of blink. We now have over 9,000 merchant outlets using blink, and over 150,000 users, to whom we have brought a lot of convenience and facilities.”
