Since its inception in 2016, the firm has supported companies, investors, and executives in preparing and executing their financial and strategic transactions. Perigeum Capital was founded with the aim of creating a specialised corporate finance firm capable of advising both Mauritian clients and international companies using Mauritius as an investment platform.
Established in 2016, the corporate finance advisory firm is celebrating a decade marked by the diversification of its services and the expansion of its presence both in Mauritius and internationally. The company’s name is inspired by the English term “perigee,” referring to the point in the lunar orbit closest to Earth. This choice reflects the philosophy that has driven the firm since its early days: remaining close to clients to better understand their ambitions and support them in achieving their goals.
Services Built Around Three Areas of Expertise
At its launch, Perigeum Capital focused primarily on advisory services for initial public offerings (IPOs), capital raising, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), business valuation, financial structuring, and acquisition audits. Over the years, its service offering has expanded and become structured around three main pillars: corporate finance advisory, mergers and acquisitions, and listing and capital market solutions.
The first pillar—Corporate Finance & Advisory—covers areas such as business valuation, capital raising, financial modeling, corporate structuring, business plan development, financial audits, and the preparation of reports tailored to client needs. The second division, M&A and Deals, focuses on mergers and acquisitions, divestment and exit strategies, and advisory services for specific transactions in Mauritius, the region, and internationally. Finally, the Listing & Capital Markets division supports companies with their IPO plans and listing on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius. The company acts as a Listing Sponsor and also advises them on compliance with post-IPO obligations and the execution of corporate actions.
This structure enables Perigeum Capital to intervene at various stages of a company’s development, from securing financing to executing transactions or accessing capital markets.

Over the past decade, Perigeum Capital has steadily expanded its client base. Today, the firm advises both Mauritian and international companies, including several entities operating in the Global Business sector. Its expertise spans sectors such as financial services and FinTech, real estate, hospitality, healthcare, agribusiness, and technology.
