An experienced digital communication professional now leads the Association of Communication Agencies of Mauritius (ACA)! Ranjana Foogooa, founder and CEO of Sphere Media Technologies, was indeed acclaimed during the Annual General Meeting of the Communication Agencies Association, which elected its board of directors on March 13th. Her appointment marks a new chapter in the direction of the ACA, with the new board expressing determination to continue stimulating innovation and fostering growth within the communication industry.
Ranjana Foogooa brings extensive experience and a remarkable vision to this position, having demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities throughout her career. With pride and determination, she takes on this new role at the helm of ACA Mauritius.
“I am incredibly proud and honoured by the trust placed in me by the association members. As agency leaders, we are entrusted with the task of promoting and preserving the very essence of the marketing and communication industry. As the new president of the ACA, my goal is to keep the flame of innovation and creativity alive, working closely with the executive committee and all association members in our industry,” emphasised the new president.
The founder and CEO of Sphere Media Technologies, a digital marketing agency, added that the association’s ambition remains to strengthen the ACA’s central role as an engine of our industry by offering a series of activities and events in the coming months, notably the Flame Festival, which saw phenomenal success in 2023. This event, she said, has become an essential platform for industry players, showcasing their creativity and facilitating idea exchange and collaboration, thus contributing to raising standards and nurturing excellence within the communication and marketing sector.
Ranjana Foogooa succeeds Aisha Allee, founder and CEO of Blast BCW, a communications and public relations agency. It is with great emotion, particularly a sense of accomplishment and pride, that the latter passes the baton to her.
“I have had the incredible privilege of working alongside seasoned, passionate, and dedicated professionals over the past two years, all driven by a common vision to promote excellence in the ever-evolving field of communication. Together, we have organized impactful events, stimulated enriching debates, and supported our members in their development.
