Based on several criteria such as download and upload speeds, among others, the nPerf score provides an insight into the quality of the user experience across all mobile networks in the country (see box). Emtel stood out in Mauritius, achieving high scores in most of these criteria. In 2024, Emtel subscribers enjoyed an unparalleled mobile internet experience, with ultra-fast download speeds averaging 159.36 Mbps and highly efficient upload speeds averaging 52.62 Mbps. These results showcase Emtel’s consistent commitment to offering the best to its customers while promoting more reliable and effective connectivity for society.
