Groupe Beau Vallon, a new identity to reflect the company’s evolution

Exciting changes are underway in the Southeast as the Compagnie de Beau Vallon Limitée officially announces a significant shift in its identity and structure. It now operates under the name Groupe Beau Vallon, a new identity that reflects the company’s evolution and a fresh vision for the future. The transition brings together its four business segments under a common banner: Beau Vallon Agri-Business, Beau Vallon Property, Beau Vallon Hospitality (formerly Southern Cross Hotels), and Beau Vallon Leisure, the group’s upcoming business segment currently in development.

“The Compagnie de Beau Vallon has undergone a true transformation over the past 15 years, evolving from a traditional sugar company into a diversified group in tourism and hospitality, real estate, non-sugar agriculture, and leisure,” says Thierry Merven, CEO of Groupe Beau Vallon. “However, this name change represents more than just a facade change; it marks a strategic milestone in our journey. This new identity strengthens us, brings our teams closer, and allows us to face the future with confidence. United and consolidated, we will be better equipped to address future challenges in an ever-evolving economic landscape,” continues Thierry Merven.

Today, Groupe Beau Vallon is thriving thanks to the successful diversification of its activities. This new identity also emphasizes the legacy of a group established in one of the island’s most beautiful regions and cultivating new ambitions for the future.

“This new identity is accompanied by a tagline for the group: ‘Cultivating the Future.’ A nod to our agricultural heritage, this motto expresses our determination to continue nurturing the future and sowing progress by pursuing balanced and respectful development in line with our convictions. Cultivating the future by redefining a contemporary way of life and harmonious living in the Southeast, inspired by one of the island’s last authentic and preserved regions,” highlights Thierry Merven.

The CEO presented the group’s roadmap to all executives during a staff gathering held on November 28 at the Labourdonnais Waterfront Hotel. This meeting showcased the group’s strategic vision and priority development areas for the future by business sector. Groupe Beau Vallon also organized a CEO Tour from November 29 to December 1 to introduce the identity change to employees in various business sectors.

“We wanted our new identity to be unveiled first to all our employees and collaborators within the group. They are our best ambassadors to convey our new image and our new ambitions,” emphasizes the CEO.
