IQ-EQ appoints new Managing Director for Mauritius and new Chief Commercial Officer for Africa, India and Middle East

IQ-EQ, a leading investor services group, is pleased to announce Rehma Imrith as its new Managing Director for Mauritius and Pazani Vaitilingon as its new Chief Commercial Officer for Africa, India and Middle East, as Sridhar Nagarajan transitions to a new role as Managing Director, Singapore and Regional CEO, Asia, Middle East and Africa.

After five years spent as Regional Managing Director in Mauritius, Sridhar Nagarajan is taking on a new role as Managing Director, Singapore and Regional CEO, Asia, Middle East and Africa. As part of this role he will join the IQ-EQ Group Management Team.

Sridhar’s promotion leaves a vacancy as Regional Managing Director, Mauritius, and Chief Commercial Officer, Africa, India and Middle East, Rehma Imrith has been appointed to succeed Sridhar.

Pazani Vaitilingon, Head of Funds, Mauritius will succeed Rehma in the role of Chief Commercial Officer, Africa, India and Middle East.

Commenting on these leadership changes and his promotion, Sridhar Nagarajan said:

“It’s an honour to take on this new role and to be given this opportunity to drive our Asia Pacific business. Being able to promote from within for each of these key roles demonstrates the depth of talent we have in our business, and exhibits our strategic focus on Asia, the Middle East and Africa as regions the Group sees as having growth potential. I’m very happy to pass the leadership of the Mauritius business to Rehma who I know will do an excellent job. As Regional CEO for the Asia, Middle East and Africa regions I have the best of both worlds as I will remain very much involved in the region, so this is not a goodbye to Mauritius, but rather a hello to Asia.”

Newly appointed Managing Director for Mauritius, Rehma Imrith said:

“Sridhar, Pazani and I have worked closely with each other for many years now so I’m fully confident that we’ll achieve a seamless handover. We’ve exciting growth plans in Mauritius and in South Africa where we’re actively consolidating our team to locally service a wider range of South African clientele. With the support and expertise of Pazani leading the commercial team and the Mauritius leadership team, we’re confident that we will continue to grow the Mauritius business from strength to strength, with India and Africa remaining our key market focus.”
