An adventure built with Mauritian entrepreneurs
For Elizabeth de Marcy-Chelin Chabert, founder of My Pop-Up Store, this 50th edition reflects an adventure built over the years with the entrepreneurs, creators, partners and consumers who have helped the concept evolve.
“For this 50th edition, we chose to bring on board 60 Mauritian brands, and we are particularly happy to return to Grand Baie La Croisette after several years, a place where Mauritians and international visitors meet.

In a diversifying economy, small businesses and Mauritian brands have an important role to play. Since our beginnings, we have been fortunate to support nearly 200 brands and to contribute, on our scale, to giving them greater visibility and commercial opportunities. Our ambition today is to keep going further: creating new points of sale, particularly in high-traffic locations such as our international airport, making it easier for Mauritian brands to access foreign markets, and eventually developing our “colis pays” project so that our diaspora can find a little piece of Mauritius, wherever they are.
We are especially grateful for the trust placed in us by the wonderful community of entrepreneurs we work with, and with whom we share this ambition of showcasing Mauritian know-how and creativity, here and internationally.”
La Croisette, an ecosystem already committed to local
This 50th edition of My Pop-Up Store will make it possible to discover several Made in Moris brands and local labels, brought together in a single space. Through its commercial offering and the various brands present there, La Croisette establishes itself as a space that contributes to the visibility and promotion of local brands and entrepreneurship. This presence reflects La Croisette’s desire to offer its visitors a selection that also reflects the diversity and know-how of Mauritian businesses.
Iconik, a shared showcase for Mauritian creativity

For her part, Thanaa Atchia Kurmally, Head of Brand Experience & Communication at AMM – Made in Moris, adds: “This new edition of My Pop-Up Store at La Croisette is an opportunity to rediscover Made in Moris brands from a different angle. Above all, it shows the creativity that exists today in our local production: brands that reinvent products we know, subvert conventions, create new uses and find new ways of telling the story of Mauritius.
The Iconik space strengthens this momentum by bringing together several Made in Moris brands under a common visual identity, including Corson, Apollo, Habit, Biscuits Manioc from Biscuiterie Rault, and Eski from Phoenix Beer. This approach creates collective visibility while allowing each brand to express its own universe.”
Among the iconic brands, well loved by Mauritians, that are supporting this launch evening are Esko · Eski · Vona Corona · Lali’s Snack · Peizan · Stage In · Grand Baie La Croisette.
