The Lux Collective pioneers Mauritius’ first hospitality workplace wellness transformation journey with LetsBe

Global hospitality group The Lux Collective has successfully completed a pioneering 12-month LetsBe Transformation Journey, developed in partnership with wellbeing-focused technology company LetsBe Mauritius Ltd. Grounded in the Group’s commitment to caring for the holistic wellbeing of its Team Members, this wellness initiative is the first-of-its-kind in the Mauritius’ hospitality industry. With team members having to consistently deliver prompt service and care to guests, mental health is also incorporated as an integral focus.

Rolled out across the Group’s six resorts, the initiative supported Team Members through a personal wellness journey guided by fitness coaches, nutritionists, doctors and psychologists, alongside integrating smart wellness bands for progress tracking and personalised support.

Rather than surface-level wellbeing activities, The Lux Collective believes in cultivating lasting personal transformation. The initiative reflects the Group’s belief that exceptional guest experiences start with cared-for, energised Team Members, aligned with its philosophy: “We Make Each Moment Matter. We Care About What Matters.”

A People-Centric Wellness Journey

Unlike traditional fitness-led programmes, LetsBe took a holistic approach to wellbeing — recognising confidence, mental health, emotional resilience, stress management, discipline and consistency as the keys to wellness transformation.

The programme highlighted 29 Team Members who set individual personal goals and each benefited from over 50 wellness consultations and coaching sessions. It reflects their determination and resilience in making positive shifts towards healthier routines and physique, along with improved self-confidence. The journey prioritises their physical and mental wellbeing and introduces day-to-day sustainable lifestyle practices.

The Lux Collective Chief Executive Officer Olivier Chavy said: “Caring for our people is at the heart of our organisational culture. The LetsBe Transformation Journeyshowed what’s possible when people are truly supported and encouraged. We are proud of the achievement of every participant.”

“Real change is never quick. LetsBe was founded on a simple belief – every individual can become a healthier and more confident version of oneself. It is about helping individuals build sustainable habits and healthier lifestyles over time. We are privileged to partner with The Lux Collective and the dedication shown by team members is most inspiring,” enthused Founder and CEO of LetsBe Mauritius Ltd Jayraj Lutchmun.

“Behind every milestone is a personal story. Team Members rediscovered new confidence, built healthier habits and elevate themselves during the 12-month immersive programme,” shared Group Head of Learning & Development and Academy Smita Modak.

The programme highlights the organisation’s evolving approach towards corporate workplace wellbeing — moving beyond occasional wellness activities toward longer-term sustained support structures embedded within the employee engagement experience.

The Lux Collective Chief People & Culture Officer Nicolas Autrey remarked, “Creating a culture of care means being intentional. This partnership allowed us to support our people in a meaningful way, while reinforcing the important message that their wellbeing matters.”

The journey concluded with a celebration bringing together participants, leaders and coaches to honour achievements and personal milestones.

More than a wellness programme, the LetsBe Transformative Journey reinforces The Lux Collective’s forward-thinking approach and ongoing commitment to nurturing its people — one of the most important investments as the Group accelerates its  exciting global expansion strategy.
