LetsBe was thrilled to announce a special Christmas celebration for the children of the SOS Village in Curepipe. The much-anticipated event took place on December 23, 2024, and was a day filled with festive cheer, laughter, and an array of exciting activities. This heartwarming gathering aimed to make the holiday season a memorable one for the children, offering them the opportunity to experience the magic of Christmas.
The celebration kicked off with a series of fun-filled activities designed to bring joy and foster a spirit of togetherness. The event featured a range of interactive games, arts and crafts workshops, music, dancing, and more. The children also enjoyed a surprise visit from Santa Claus, who distributed Christmas gifts to make the day even more special. In addition, the event included a festive meal, providing a delicious spread of food to ensure the children felt the warmth and generosity of the season.
Representatives from LetsBe were present throughout the event, actively engaging with the children and helping to facilitate the day’s activities. Volunteers from the organisation joined forces to ensure that every child experienced the joy and magic of Christmas, making this event not only a celebration but a meaningful opportunity for the community to come together.

Giving back to the community
As part of the event, LetsBe worked to gather donations to support the children of the SOS Village. The gifts, carefully selected to suit the individual needs and preferences of the children, were presented during the event. In addition to the gifts, LetsBe contributed to the organisation of the event, including the preparation of meals and the purchase of decorations to create a festive atmosphere.
“Seeing the smiles on the children’s faces was what made this event so meaningful. Through our efforts, we hoped to make this Christmas one they would remember for years to come. It was a privilege to be part of such a wonderful cause,” said Jayraj.
Fostering community spirit
