As part of its regional expansion and growth strategy, ABCB Holdings has officially announced the launch of Seylease, an innovative Seychellois company specialising in leasing and fleet management. The project is the result of a strategic partnership between ABCB Holdings, through its subsidiary ABCB Investments, and local economic stakeholders, with the ambition of transforming the mobility landscape in Seychelles.
Seylease will provide three main services. The Full Maintenance Lease is a long-term rental contract that includes all maintenance services, offering customers a hassle-free experience. The Finance Lease is a financing option that allows businesses to acquire vehicles without heavily impacting their cash flow. Maintenance Management is a dedicated fleet management service designed to optimise operational costs and minimise downtime.
According to Brian Ah-Chuen, “Through this partnership, we aim to introduce innovative financial solutions that are truly adapted to local realities. Seylease is paving a new path towards more accessible and responsible mobility in Seychelles.”
With increasing ecological awareness and a growing commitment to energy transition, Seychelles is actively exploring sustainable alternatives. Seylease positions itself as the first company in the country to offer such a comprehensive range of leasing services, covering financing for petrol vehicles, hybrid models, and fully electric vehicles.
The official launch ceremony took place on 6 June at L’Escale Marina Resort & Spa in Seychelles. The event was attended by representatives of the ABC Group, along with prominent Seychellois dignitaries, including the Governor of the Central Bank of Seychelles, Caroline Abel, the Minister for Investment, Entrepreneurship and Industry, Devika Vidot, and the Chairman of Seylease, Francis Chang Leng.
