Women in Tech Mauritius Launches the First Edition of WIT Talks 

Port Louis, Mauritius — 21 October 2025 — Women in Tech Mauritius proudly hosted the first edition of WIT Talks on Saturday, 18 October 2025, at Middlesex University Mauritius. The event marked an important milestone for the local tech community, bringing together students, professionals, and industry leaders for a morning of inspiration, learning, and connection. The inaugural WIT Talks featured nine dynamic speakers who shared their experiences and insights across a variety of fields , from artificial intelligence and entrepreneurship to personal growth and leadership. The event created a safe, engaging space for authentic stories, thought-provoking discussions, and new collaborations in Mauritius’s growing tech ecosystem. 

Event Highlights 

● Launch of the very first edition of WIT Talks, a new initiative by Women in Tech Mauritius. 

● Nine impactful talks from professionals, educators, and innovators. 

● A platform encouraging dialogue, inclusion, and empowerment in technology. 

● Funds raised from ticket sales will directly support future Women in Tech Mauritius initiatives, including a Career Fair for Girls in STEM and the Tech for Ecology competition.
