Guillaume Dalais to succeed Jean-Pierre Dalais as Group Chief Executive starting from July 1, 2024
The Board of Directors of the CIEL Group officially announced on Thursday, December 7, the appointment of Guillaume Dalais as Group Chief Executive, effective from July 1, 2024. Designated as Deputy Group Chief Executive in January 2023 as part of the succession plan put in place by CIEL, Guillaume has worked closely with Jean-Pierre Dalais in defining the Group’s strategic direction. This collaboration will continue: Jean-Pierre Dalais will remain actively involved with CIEL as Vice-Chairman of the Board, a role he will assume from July 2024 before succeeding Arnaud Dalais as Chairman from July 1, 2025.
Guillaume Dalais has an in-depth knowledge of the Group’s activities, having been part of it for 15 years. With a background in accounting and finance, he has held operational responsibilities in the Finance, Textile, and Real Estate entities of the Group. Today, he is a member of the Board of Directors of CIEL Limited, CIEL Properties Limited, Sun Limited, CIEL Textile Limited, and serves as Chairman of the Board of C-Care (Mauritius) Limited. “With his values, personal qualities, technical skills, and his journey through our various entities, Guillaume has our full confidence to execute CIEL Group’s strategy and accelerate its development,” said Arnaud Dalais, Chairman of the Board. “I also want to express my deep gratitude to Jean-Pierre for his outstanding leadership, bold vision, and commitment, which have been the foundation of the tremendous progress made by the CIEL Group.”
