Campus Abroad holds International Education Fair 2024 to coincide with HSC results

Campus Abroad’s International Education Fair 2024 took place amid great fanfare on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from 1:00pm to 6:00pm at the prestigious Hennessy Park Hotel.

As many as 40 universities from all corners of the world – Australia, Canada, UK, Spain, China, France, Hungary, Mauritius, and New Zealand – were present at the fair, providing an invaluable opportunity for students and parents in Mauritius to connect with representatives from esteemed global universities. With a focus on facilitating meaningful interactions, the fair served as a great platform for students and parents to explore various institutions and gather essential information to inform their educational journey.

“Campus Abroad is holding this International Education Fair to coincide with the HSC results. We think it is a fantastic opportunity for the children to come with their results, and see what options are available to them. Those who have done very well can also use the opportunity to find out which universities offer scholarships based on the merit that they have secured. We would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate the laureates and wish them all the very best for their future,” said Campus Abroad’s co-founder and director, Rajeshwari Jayasankar.

Within the dynamic ecosystem of the International Education Fair 2024, attendees had the chance to interact directly with representatives from universities across the globe. From discussing application procedures to exploring scholarship opportunities and post-study work possibilities, students present had the opportunity to gain otherwise inaccessible insights into the intricacies of studying abroad from aspirational universities that offer a diverse range of academic programmes and pathways.

“We also host a series of events throughout the year, be it fairs or open days, and we would be announcing these events on social media. If it has not been possible for some of you come in today, please do come to our office on Vandermeersch Street in Rose Hill, next to Queen Elizabeth College. It would be our pleasure to receive you there and to talk about the various opportunities that are available to you,” concluded Rajeshwari Jayasankar.

Ultimately, the event provided an invaluable opportunity for students to meet with diverse representatives from tertiary education institutions. Such interactions also go a long way in helping students understand how they can best implement the visa and travel arrangements that are a crucial yet challenging aspect of bringing their higher education dreams to life.
