  1. Nestenn has just won the Agency of Choice Award based on the highest number of buyer and rental inquiries throughout 2023 on Propertyclou.mu – Congratulations! What do you feel are the factors in place that have led to your success?

We attribute our success to a combination of factors, with teamwork and perseverance playing pivotal roles. At Nestenn, we foster a culture of collaboration and mutual support among our team members. The dedication and hard work of our staff, coupled with our commitment to providing excellent service, have undoubtedly contributed to the high number of buyer and rental inquiries on the market.

2. You currently have 5 agencies spread across the island in strategic locations such as Grand Bay, Beau Vallon, Moka, Tamarin and Curepipe. What has been your strategy to tap into the growing demand for property from HNWIs and Mauritian citizens while catering to their different needs?

Our strategy is to have branches strategically located across the island, including Grand Bay, Blue Bay, Moka, Tamarin and Curepipe. This allows us to tap into the diverse needs of high net worth individuals and Mauritian residents. Each location is chosen with the local market dynamics in mind, enabling us to respond effectively to the specific demands of each region.

3. In the post-COVID era, have you noticed any shift in buyer trends?

In the post-COVID era, we have observed a notable shift in buyer trends. There is an increased demand for properties that offer flexible living spaces, home offices, and amenities that enhance work-life balance. Nestenn has adapted to these changing preferences by curating a diverse portfolio that meets the evolving needs of our clients.

4. Can you share some insights of your international activities from the Nestenn brand and the benefits of having your Mauritian-based Agency to serve customers?

Nestenn is a French franchise with nearly 500 branches worldwide. Founded five years ago on the island, Nestenn Mauritius is an integral part of this global network. This international structure allows us to provide our customers with a global perspective while benefiting from local expertise. As a result, our Mauritian office combines the advantages of a global brand with an in-depth knowledge of the local market, offering our clients an exceptional real estate experience.
