Two projects by Tayelamay Group’s property development arm have received continental recognition, highlighting its expansion from construction into residential and mixed-use development.
Mauritian developer One T Properties has won three distinctions at the African Property Awards 2026–2027, recognising the architecture, residential development and masterplanning of two projects in Mauritius.
The property development subsidiary of Tayelamay Group received two awards for One T Heaven in Sodnac, in the Apartment / Condominium Development and Residential Architecture categories. Its One T Thrive Creek development at Technopole Business Park in Côte d’Or was recognised in the Masterplan category.
The awards mark a milestone in Tayelamay Group’s diversification strategy. Drawing on more than three decades of construction experience, the group has progressively expanded its activities to include the development of its own projects, bringing together design, construction capabilities and a longer-term vision for how people live and work.

One T Heaven combines contemporary apartment living with facilities designed around recreation, wellbeing and shared outdoor space. The development includes a swimming pool, clubhouse, indoor and outdoor gyms, sauna, padel court, Zen Plaza and landscaped areas.
Its location in Sodnac provides direct access to Sodnac Wellness Park, alongside connections to nearby shopping centres, business districts and major road networks. The project’s two awards recognise both its architectural approach and its broader residential development concept.
One T Thrive Creek introduces a different dimension to the company’s portfolio. Planned for Technopole Business Park, the integrated development is intended to bring together medical facilities, services for older people, offices, research spaces, hospitality, dining and a landscaped park.
Its recognition in the Masterplan category highlights the planning of these complementary uses within a single development. For One T Properties, the project represents an expansion beyond residential property into spaces serving a wider range of professional and social needs.
Behind both developments is Tayelamay Group’s vertically integrated operating structure. Its activities span construction, infrastructure, ready-mix concrete production, logistics, distribution and property development. Fast Mix, a group subsidiary, provides concrete batching capabilities within this wider construction operation.
The group is also incorporating monolithic construction and Building Information Modelling (BIM) into its approach to project delivery. These methods support closer coordination between design and site operations, with an emphasis on construction planning, precision and quality control.
